Having been an LPN for a while, I knew I didn't want to stay at that level long-term. I needed to complete what I had started, which is why I chose to pursue my ASN at Herzing. The program offered a quicker path to completion compared to other schools in the area, 和 their high NCLEX pass rates were impressive.
Despite working full-time 和 facing minor health issues, I persevered through prayer 和 hard work. 护理 requires both compassion 和 resilience; stay true to your calling 和 don't let the challenges harden your heart.
To future students: if you ever waiver in your resilience, do your best to remember that this is an important profession 和 don’t harden your heart. This is an important career that helps so many people in their time of need.
As a grad, I earned a position at a local medical center in their orthopedic unit at night. 我等不及要开始了!
